Our Hospital

We are proud to be an accredited 4 year American Animal Hospital Association member.

What does being a AAHA member mean?

Hospital membership signifies a commitment to excellence and is only available to veterinary clinics that subscribe to and meet the high standards for medical practice established by AAHA. Alpine Animal Hospital is also a veterinary lifeline member of the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center.

What does this mean?

Membership gives us quick access to the animal poison control line, providing our clients and patients with potential life-saving information and treatment.

Admission of Patients for Surgical, Dental and Anesthetic Procedures

Our patients are admitted to the hospital between 8:00-8:30AM on the day of the procedure.  At that time, a technician will go over the procedure and options such as preanesthetic blood testing and IV catheterization.  We will also address any concerns or additional questions you may have.  We ask that the animal be fasted starting at 6:00PM the prior day.  Water can be given up to the time of admission.  Depending upon the procedure, animals will be released later that day or the following day. You will be given detailed instructions upon release.
